9 of My Favourite Fiction Books

I like to read a little bit of everything. Sometimes my mood is for a thriller or a classic or maybe even horror.

Shirley Jackson’s writing gives me chills. (When you read the book you’ll see what I did there.) A haunting story told with such beautiful words.

CLASSIC John Green. Reminds me of living in a small town and just wanting to break out and live life.

If you love the 80s. If you love demonic possession. This is for you.

This book changed my life. I still draw so many parallels and I often think about it to this day.

I’m not sure if you should read this or 1984 first. I read this after 1984 and again the same effect – the story is fictional yet so real it stays with you.

I don’t read many books in this genre, but I’m glad I read this one. Every turn was a twist and I absolutely did not expect the ending!

This is just a really nice classic story. If you heart adventure and desire to go inside volcanos – check this one out.

Gone Girl

Even though I watched the movie first, I still read the book after and it’s even better. Such a brilliant piece of work and I could not guess what was going to happen next at any point.

Dracula

So good even to this day. Sometimes I have trouble staying engaged with older books because the language is more dense, but this is not like that at all and still good even though we’ve heard this story a thousand times.
